Do You Want to Be Radical for Jesus?

Abraham sacrificing Isaac … radical obedience!
Jesus on the cross … radical love!
Paul in Philippians 3:10-11 … radical faith!

Do you want radical faith in Jesus Christ? Radical love for Him? Radical obedience to Him? … Then seek the face of God! Move toward Christ and not away from Him. Pray for God to remove everything that keeps you from loving Jesus 100% and burning for Him … disobedience, pride, apathy, selfishness, earthly wisdom. Why do I mention that last one? People want to rationalize and argue away and spiritualize the Word. They don’t take it as it is. They think they’re wiser than God. Don’t do this! Believe the Word. Read it. Obey it … with the simple faith of a child.

Be radical for Jesus! Live for Him! Die for Him! Burn for Him!

  1. Amen,
Abba, I pray that you would make those who love you even more radical, that they would throw all things behind them and press on towards the cross and the King.

    • Jarred, thanks for the comment! And thanks for introducing me to BCOM! God knew I needed Matthew 16:25 today! 😀

  2. This is such a needed message today. Radical spirituality has been redefined, the term has been misappropriated really, to mean impulsive activity. Someone is thought of as radical in their faith if they do something crazy, unconventional, or difficult — if they move to a distant land or live in a difficult community or risk their life in some way.
But when it all comes down to it, what is more radical than submitting your life, all you are, all you have, to the pursuit of Jesus?
Radical isn’t about what we do or don’t do, or where we do it. It is about who we follow and how we obey.
    blessings!
